Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has now conceded to "sexual contact" with his sexual assault accuser, but without intercourse—as per KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.

DNA tests have been requested.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns have agreed to terms with QB Jake Delhomme on a two-year deal. The Cleveland Plain Dealer confirms.
Scratch that visit with the Saints. Delhomme's priority was landing in a situation where he would have a chance to start, so he chose Cleveland over a return home to Louisiana. Brady Quinn is unlikely to last the offseason, which leaves the Browns with a Delomme-Seneca Wallace training camp battle. The smart money is on Wallace to defeat a washed-up Delhomme and enter Week 1 as the starter.

JaMarcus Russell reportedly weighed in at 290 pounds when he reported for the Raiders' offseason program.
So Oakland can scratch left tackle off its list of needs. Russell was initially reported to weigh 271, but many close to the situation immediately doubted that report. Russell, annually and incredibly overweight, isn't doing anything to shed his emerging label as the biggest bust in NFL history. Mar. 26 - 9:00 pm et

It looks as if no one knows just yet. The Eagles are hoping for a blockbuster trade, while the Raiders are clinging for oxygen. Both teams need help though.

Things have appeared to stall on the trade; however, here is one take on the situation:

WOW. The Redskins may actually be worth a damn this year. They also picked up Fast Willie Parker to add to Larry Johnson and Santonio Holmes. Talk about a backfield.

Hmmmm... Redskins to win it all?

Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland admits he asked Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute during pre-draft interviews, and apologized to the first-round pick.
"My job is to find out as much information as possible about a player," said Ireland. "Sometimes that leads to asking in-depth questions. Having said that, I talked to Dez Bryant and told him I used poor judgment. ... I certainly meant no disrespect and apologized to him." Bryant insisted his "mom is not a prostitute," and that the question made him "mad -- really mad."

Russell
Raiders released QB JaMarcus Russell.
Russell didn't show enough at last week's minicamp for Al Davis to justify carrying him as a $6.5 million risk throughout the spring and summer. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 draft, selected over then-coach Lane Kiffin's objections, finishes his Raiders career with a 7-18 record, 52.1 completion percentage, 18:23 TD-to-INT ratio and a 65.2 passer rating. Considering his bloated contract (Davis paid him $40M over the past 3+ years), Russell may have bypassed Ryan Leaf as the biggest bust in NFL draft history. Don't expect to see any other teams rushing out to sign Russell, though we've heard rumors that the Colts may kick his tires down the road. May. 6 - 4:03 pm et
